Sharon L. Skates passed away in Portland, OR on March 23, 2013. She was 65.
She was born December 27, 1947 in Alexandria, Virginia to Edward and Mary Keckert. She later moved to Stevenson where she resided for 13 yrs.
She is survived by her husband William Skates (at home); sons Thomas Skates of Anaheim, CA and William Crooks of Loma Rica, CA; 4 grandchildren; brothers Edward Heckert of San Antonio, TX and Greg Hckert of Fredrick, Maryland; and sisters Leslie Atanasoff of Thurmont, MD and Elena Spitzer of Walkersville, MD.
A Celebration of Life has been planned for Monday, April 1, at 3PM at Brown's Funeral Home. There will be a slideshow and fellowship.
