Obituary of William Nichols

William Nichols passed away March 25, 2013. He was 84. He was born July 13, 1928 in Belgrade, Nebraska to Milo and Mabel Nichols. As the oldest son, he took seriously his responsibility to care for his younger brothers and sisters. He worked at Crown Zellerbach as a machine tender on #15. He was also a member of the AWPPW Local #5, and served in the US Navy which was a treasured part of his life, incorporating a trip to China.He was know by all as a good friend, and lend a hand to help a neighbor. In his spare time he loved a good fishing trip and camping with his beloved wife. He is survived by his sons Dennis Hall of Bothell, WA; Mark Hall of Newport, OR; Kevin Hall of Ellensburg, WA; daughters Claudia Johnson of Ocean Park, WA and Judy Briles of Portland, OR; 12 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; brother Jerry Nichols of Ocean Park, WA; and sisters Nadene Pehl of Chehalis, WA and Arlene Connor of Camas, WA. There will be a graveside service at Fern Prairie Cemetery on Saturday, April 6, at 11:00 AM. Brown's Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
