Obituary of Diane Nichols

Diane P. Nichols went to be with her Lord on April 2, 2013. She was 64. Diane was born February 18, 1949 in Vancouver, WA to Francis and Carol Ruge. She graduated from Columbia River High School in 1967, and continued her education at Clark College where she obtained an Associate's Degree in Nursing. She loved her life whether it was training horses or enjoying the companionship of her family. She also had a passion for music. She found herself at home in Stevenson, where she resided for 38 years. She is survived by her husband Ron (at home)/ parents, Frank and Carol Ruge of Vancouver, WA; sons, Brian (Trisha) Nichols of Stevenson, WA; Andrew (Lucy) Nichols of Stevenson, WA; Phillip Nichols of Ridgefield, WA; Steven (Keli) Nichols of Chandler, AZ; Mark (Maria) Nichols of Vancouver, WA; 11 Grandchildren; brother Tom (Patti) Ruge of Vancouver, WA; and sister Anita (Brian) Penold of Battle Ground, WA. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, April 13, at 11AM at the Messiah Lutheran Church located in Vancouver, WA. Brown's Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
