Obituary of Mary Peebles

Mary A. Peebles of Camas, WA peacefully passed away on April 25, 2013 after a 6 year battle with cancer. She was at home surrounded by her loving family. She was 66. Mary was born March 24, 1947 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada to her parents Robert and Nina Sullivan. She was a Camas/Washougal resident for 32 years and worked as a Fragrance Representative for Liz Claiborne. She enjoyed many things and found the real beauty in nature. She enjoyed gardening, walking the trails around Lacamas Lake with her special friend, vacations, and cooking. Family was always important to her, and the times they've shared will always be remembered. She was loved by many, and will be deeply missed. She is survived by her loving husband Billy Jim Peebles (at home), sons, James (Carrie) Peebles; Jeffery (Shelly) Peebles; Jonathan (Wendy) Peebles, all from Camas, WA; grandchildren, Adam, Jake, Jimmy, Molly, Mary, numerous brothers and sisters, mother, Nina Sullivan; and her special sister Aunt Betty. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Sullivan. The family would like to send a special thank you to the entire staff at Compass Oncology who took care of Mary for 5 ½ years. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, April 30, at 12 Noon, at Brown's Funeral Home in Camas, WA. A graveside will follow at Camas Cemetery.
