Even though I had not been part of Carl’s life since I was sixteen, just the mention of his name always brings such an uncontrollable smile (or perhaps smirk). He, Dan Carlson and I were joined at the hip in the early years and practically lived together 4th-8th grades. Somehow we survived those years unscathed, unarrested (new word), and unified for life. Carl will always be a part of me through all those great memories…I want to send out my deepest sympathies to “Mrs. Campbell”, Bob, Floyd, and Sherrie.
