Rose M. (Strickland) Morisette June 26, 1943 ~ December 7, 2013 Rose Marie Morisette passed away on December 7, 2013. She was 70. Rose was born on June 26, 1943, in Barron, WI to her parents, Godfrey and Alice Strickland. She was a graduate of Grandview High School and had been a resident of Vancouver, WA for 51 years, but was previously from Entiat, WA. While living in Vancouver, she attended Fern Prairie United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, Lou Morisette, at home; daughters, Tami (Troy) Ruppenthal of LaCenter, WA and Shaun (Chris) Hymas of Battle Ground, WA; son, Gerald Elhard of Las Vegas, NV; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild; brothers, James Strickland of Blythe, CA and Carl Strickland of Tieton, WA; and sisters, Ollie Goodell of East Wenatchee, WA and Deanie (Al) Chandler of East Wenatchee, WA. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister-in-law, Fern Strickland; and brother-in-law, Ward Goodell. A Celebration of Life Service was held on Friday, December 13, 2013, at the Red Lion on the River located in Portland, OR. Interment will be at Park Hill Cemetery in Vancouver, WA.
