Obituary of Stanley Zimmer

Stanley Charles Zimmer passed away on January 29, 2014. He was 62. Stanley was born February 27, 1951 in Anaconda, Montana to his parents Eugene and Darlene (Brandner) Zimmer. He was a Clark County resident of more than 40 years while working in the Paper Mill and belonged to the A.W.P.P.W. Local #5. In 2006, he retired from Georgia Pacific Paper Mill. He was a Past Gov. of Camas Lodge #1042, was a member of the Fern Prairie Modeliers Club, American Modeliers Association, American Kite association, and of the Washougal Eagles. He is survived by his daughters; Shannon L. Zimmer of Camas, WA; Shawna E. Zimmer of Gresham, OR; Dawn C. Stubbs of Gresham, OR; Darla J. Zimmer of Portland, OR; Stanelle M. Perry of Vancouver, WA; 8 grandchildren; and numerous brothers, sisters, and special friends, Nancy and Roy Elzea of Washougal, WA and Kim and Dena Mann of Washougal, WA. A Celebration of Life Service, which will include full military honors wil be on Thursday, Feb. 6 at 1030AM, at Willamette National Cemetery. There will be a Celebration of Life Gathering on Sat. Feb. 8, at 11AM at the Camas Moose Lodge. Brown's Funeral Home & Cremation Services has been entrusted with arrangements.
