Mary Elizabeth Zollo peacefully passed on Saturday, April 11, 2008 in Vancouver. Born on November 22, 1925 in Ash Grove, Missouri, Mary was 82 years old.
A Camas resident for over 65 years, Mary worked as a secretary at City Hall in Camas, and was a volunteer at the Inter-Faith Treasure. She was a member of St. John's Presbyterian Church in Camas since 1944, and former member of the 49er's Club. She enjoyed traveling, visiting all fifty states, camping, hiking, and spending time with her family and friends.
Mary is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Bernard at home, daughters Beth Zollo-Klaas of Washougal, and Janet Jones of Olympia, brother Frank Outcalt of Santa Rosa, CA, sisters Marjorie Gayer of Ash Grove, Missouri, and Doris Collins of Camas, and four grandchildren.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service for Mary on Saturday, April 19th at 1:00 pm at St. John's Presbyterian Church in Camas. Donations can be made to the church.
Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
