Elaine "Kid" May Bernard, 64, an 11-year Washougal, WA resident, peacefully passed away on Wed., Feb. 19, 2014 in Vancouver, WA. She was born on Dec. 19, 1949 in Chicago, IL to Frank and Marie Hanius.
Elaine worked as a care giver. She was a member of the Salmon Falls Church of Washougal and the Camas Moose Lodge #1492 W.O.T.M. She enjoyed plaing Bingo, and also had a fondness for collecting fairies.
Elain is survived by her loving husband, Daryl, of Washougal; and three sisters: Helen Braverman of Scottsdale, AZ Delores "Dolly" shepherd of Phoenix, AZ and Carol Sheetz of South Bend, IN.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Leo.
There will be a celebration of Elaine's life on Sun., Feb. 23 at 10:00a.m. at Salmon Falls Church in Washougal.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to Salmon Falls Church Fund.
Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
