Obituary of Kathryn Pinkham

Kathryn Elizabeth Pinkham peacefully passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2008 at her home in Camas. Born on July 21, 1913 in Jessup County, Maryland, Kathryn was 94 years old.
A resident of Camas for the last year, Kathryn lived three years in Newport and was previously of the San Juan/Capistrano area. Throughout her life, Kathryn worked for the Post Office, a mercantile store, and as a farmer. She was affiliated with the Democratic National Committee, and enjoyed watching CNN, reading, poetry, and keeping up with current events.
Kathryn is survived by her daughter-in-laws Linda Clayton of Waldport, Oregon, and Betty Busey-Clayton of Phoenix, Arizona, four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Kenneth A. Pinkham in 2006, and sons Bruce Clayton in 2007 and Raymond "Clark" Clayton in 2006.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service for Kathryn on Saturday, May 17th at 1:00 pm at Brown's Funeral Home in Camas. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, May 18th at 1:00 pm at the Pioneer Cemetery in Yachats, Oregon.
Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
