My Mother Kept A Garden My Mother kept a garden. A garden of the heart; She planted all the good things, That gave my life it's start. She turned me to the sunshine, And encouraged me to dream: Fostering and nurturing The seeds of self-esteem. And when the winds and rains came, She protected me enough; But not too much, she knew I'd need To stand up strong and tough. Her constant good example, Always taught me right from wrong; Markers for my pathway To last my whole life long. I am my Mother's garden, I am her legacy. And I hope today she feels the love, Reflected back from me.

Gail will always be remembered for her love of family, friends and children. I met Gail many years ago when she came into the daycare. She had never worked in a center but I knew at that moment she had a huge love for children. She was our lead toddler teacher up to 2006 when we closed the center. She took care of many children, who loved their Gail. She even had my grandchildren in our her toddler room. Gail, Patty and I would laugh so much at the center. Her smile is what I will always remember.
Tiffani just reminded me of the PJ Days at daycare with her in PJs and pigtails. How she used to yell at the drive ed cars that would always use her car for parking. How funny she could be. How much she loved Gail.
We had many good times. I remember the time at Camas Days when on a whim we decided to enter the bathtub races. Gail laughed so hard and we came in 4th overall. What a fun day. We were soaked and laughed so hard.
Monty was the love of her life. It showed in how she talked about him. When he had his accident on the motorcycle she stayed by his side. I believe they were soul mates.
We will all miss Gail. You can bet she making them laugh in heaven.
