Adam Christopher Bingaman passed away on Monday, July 28, 2014 in the arms of his loving wife Kristine (Caldwell) Bingaman after a bravely fought battle with melanoma cancer. Adam was born October 25, 1978 to David and Deborah (Falls) Bingaman. Adam's mother passed away 2 days later leaving baby Adam and his 2 ½ year old brother Joel in the care of their father. David remarried in 1986 to Cathy (Mowrey) Bingaman who had the joy of raising Adam and his brother as her own sons. Adam attended St. Mary's School in Aberdeen, WA and Ocean Shores Elementary through the 6th grade and then Hoquiam Middle and High School graduating in 1997. After high school Adam attended Wyoming Technical Institute graduating with a degree in Collision Repair later that year. After relocating to Lynnwood, Washington he continued his education graduating from ITT Technical Institute in Everett with a degree in Computer Aided Design (C.A.D). Relocating to Vancouver, WA he was encouraged by a co-worker to begin a 5 year apprenticeship with the Pipefitters union and started working as a Journeyman in 2010 and was actively working until a week before passing as a Project Supervisor for McDonald-Miller. Adam married his high school sweetheart, Kristine (Caldwell) in July, 2002 in the Fiji Islands upon her graduation from Clark College Dental Hygiene school. Two children were born to Adam and Kristine, Lucas in 2006 and Layla in 2008. His family resides at their home in Camas, WA. Adam was an active member of the Boys Scouts of America, Troop 63 in Ocean Shores attaining the rank of Life Scout and was a participant in the National Scout Jamboree in Virginia. He was a Soccer player from his youth soccer days in Ocean Shores through High School and was part of the Olympic Development Project. Adam loved being outdoors and was an avid jet skier often competing in the Grayland Jet ski competitions. He loved working on his jet skis, motorcycles and bikes. He also loved camping with his family and did so frequently. Adam was loved not only by his family, but also by his many friends and co-workers. He always looked for the bright side of life and his family was his pride and joy. His radiant smile, sense of humor, love of life, and kind tolerance and acceptance of all those he met will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Besides his wife and children, Adam is survived by his parents, Dave and Cathy of Ocean Shores, WA, brothers Joel (wife Hannah) of St. Louis, MO and Eddie of Lynnwood, WA as well as many Aunts, Uncles, cousins and his grandfather Walter Bingaman. Cremated remains will be interned at Fern Prairie Cemetery in Camas. A memorial gathering will be held at the home in Camas, WA on August 10, 2014 at 3:00. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made via www.skincancer.org or any other skin cancer organizations of choice. The family wishes to remind everyone to regularly check and be aware of any changes in moles and to seek professional care immediately upon detection, use sunblock, especially on young children and to take special care when in direct sun exposure.
