Angelita Esparza Holguin of Vancouver, Washington passed away August 11, 2014, peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 78 years old. She was born on September 26, 1935 in Buena Vista, TX to Tomas and Antonia Esparza. She spent her life working odd jobs, but her most important title was homemaker and mom. She was loved by many and will be missed.Angelita is survived by four sons: Gustavo Holguin Jr. of Odessa, TX; Joe and Gilbert Holguin of Shafter, CA; Sammy Holguin of Midland, TX; three daughters: Cecilia Hill and Tina Flores of Shafter, CA; Jo Ann Gutierrez of Vancouver, WA; 24 grandchildren annd 29 great-grandchildren, as well as five sisters: Martina Cobarrubio, Manuela Velasquez and Consuelo Plata of Odessa, TX; Theresa Velasquez of Crane, TX; Antonia Montez of Abilene, TX, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceeded in death by her husband Gustavo Holguin, son Robert Holguin, five brothers Armando, Juan, Santana, Frank and Tomas Esparza and two sisters; Pilar Salazar and Rosa Primera.A celebration of Angelita's life will be held Saturday, August 16th at Brown's Funeral Home in Camas, with a graveside service to follow at Park Hill Cemetery in Vancouver, WA.
