Lawrence LeRoy Wheeler passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2008 at his home in Camas. Born on November 26, 1921 in Ft. Bayard, New Mexico, Lawrence was 86 years old.
A Camas resident since 2005, Lawrence was formerly of Crescent City, California. He was a Veteran of the United States Army during World War II. He enjoyed gardening, playing cards, traveling, camping, and having potlucks with his friends and family.
Lawrence is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Harriett at home, daughters Susan Snyder, and Nancy Wheeler-Sullivan, sons Steven Runyan, Geoffry Wheeler, and Timothy Wheeler, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
There will be no public service.
Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
