Obituary of Leland Cummings

Leland "Bud" Cummings passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2008 in Bellevue, Washington. Born on May 19, 1926 in McCloud, California, Bud was 82 years old. A two year Vancouver resident, Bud was formerly of Auburn, Washington. He was a Veteran of WWII serving in the US Navy, and a former member of the American Legion, Eagles, and Elks Lodge. He enjoyed square dancing and spending time with his wife. Bud is survived by his daughters Pam Ambers of Vancouver, and Dorothy Lynn Huffman of Federal Way, Washington, daughter-in-law Barb Cummings of Sammamish, Washington, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years Dorothy in 2006 and his son Ronald Cummings in 1999. There will be a graveside service with full military honors for Bud on Friday, September 12th at 12:30 pm at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Washington. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
