Obituary of Margaret Knippel

Margaret Jean Knippel, 71, went to be with her Lord on Mon., Feb. 20, 2012 at her home in Camas, WA. She was born Oct. 25, 1940 in Waukesha, WI and had been a Camas resident for 41 years. Margaret was a retired rural letter carrier for the United States Postal Service. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Vancouver, WA. Margaret is survived by her husband, Donald; daughters, Donna L. Smith of Vancouver, WA and Diane Higham of Graham, WA; sons Douglas Knippel of Vancouver, WA, Daniel Knippel of Sierra Vista, AZ and Dennis Knippel of Bellevue, WA; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Helen Walk of Minocqua, WI; and her brother, Arthur Portz of Minocqua, WI. A Rosary service will be held Fri., Feb. 24, at 6:00 p.m. at Brown's Funeral Home in Camas, WA and a funeral Mass will be Sat., Feb. 25, at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Vancouver, WA Brown's Funeral Home, in Camas, WA, has been entrusted to the arrangements.
