Obituary of Elvira Naillon

Elvira Genevieve (Day) Naillon returned to her Savior on Thursday, April 30, 2009. Born on February 4, 1920 in Camas, Washington to Rye and Lottie Day, Genevieve was 89 years old.
Genevieve lived in the Camas-Vancouver area for most of her life, and formerly lived in Yakima and Kennewick. She was a lifetime member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was a member of the Vancouver 1st Ward. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, sewing, gardening, cooking, and baking. Most of all Genevieve enjoyed loving her family and her Savior.
Genevieve is survived by her children Larry Naillon, Lyle Naillon, Warren Naillon, Wayne Naillon, Wesley Naillon, Audrey Weber, Charlotte Freeland, Evelyn Bonney, Edna Stanton, and Elvira Olinger, her sister Virginia Shafer, and a total of 84 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister Donna Larson.
There will be a Celebration of Genevieve's life on Saturday, May 9th at 11:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Vancouver 1st Ward: 9728 NE 50th Avenue, Vancouver, WA 98665. Viewing will be held at Brown's Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 5th from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
