Obituary of Richard Pipher

Richard Daryl Pipher peacefully passed away on Friday, August 21, 2009 at his home in Vancouver. Born on November 24, 1951 in Wadsworth, Ohio, Richard was 57 years old.
A 25 year Clark County resident, Richard lived the past ten years in Vancouver. He worked as a truck driver, and also was involved with coaching and umpiring baseball games. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy during the Vietnam War who enjoyed cars and train collecting, and visiting Newport Beach. Most importantly, Richard enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Richard is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 30 years Joe Ann at home, daughter Amanda Pipher of Newport, Oregon, sons Robert Pipher, Joseph Pipher, and Daryl Pipher all of Vancouver, brothers Robert Pipher, David Pipher, and James Pipher, and Joseph Pipher all of Ohio, and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother Carl Pipher, and sisters Lenora Pipher, Carol Pipher, and Carolyn Pipher.
There will be a Celebration of Richard's life with full military honors on Sunday, August 30th at 4:00 pm at Brown's Funeral Home in Camas. Memorials in Richard's honor may be sent to the American Cancer Society. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
