I can never forget my first meeting with Daphne. I was only about a week working at the Post-Record when I called at the Raynor's home about a story I was writing. Daphne's greeting was -- "Would you like a glass of wine?" It was the loveliest glass of wine I ever tasted, as it tasted of genuine hospitality. My friendship with Daphne and John began from that moment and has lasted till now, even though I am far away in Ireland and Daphne is far away in Heaven (actually that's not so far away). I don't pray for Daphne -- I pray TO her. My love to John and the family, and I wish them strength at this time. Lots of love. -- David
