George Frederick "Fred" Good passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2009 in Vancouver. Born on March 27, 1910 in Crawfordsville, Indiana to George and Adah Good, Fred was 99 years old.
A Camas resident since 1941, George graduated with a Bachelor's of Arts Degree from Linfield College. He worked as an accountant for Crown Zellerbach Paper Mill in Camas before his retirement, and was a member of St. John's Presbyterian Church in Camas. Fred was a Pastmaster of Clarke Lodge #203 F. & A.M. of Camas and of North Bank Lodge #182 F. & A.M. of Washougal, and a member of the Lackamas Chapter #152 O.E.S.
Fred is survived by his daughter Cheryl A. Rondeau of Keizer, Oregon, son Eugene F. Good of Marsing, Idaho, brother Kenneth Good of McMinnville, Oregon, five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Lorraine V. Good in 1996.
There will be a celebration of Fred's life on Sunday, October 25th at 3:00 pm at St. John's Presbyterian Church in Camas. Vault interment was held at the Camas Cemetery. Memorials in Fred's honor may be sent to Shriner's Children's Hospital, The Ronald McDonald House, or St. John's Presbyterian Church.
Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
