Carol Ann Andrews peacefully passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at the Ray Hickey Hospice House in Vancouver surrounded by her family. Born on July 27, 1935 in Buffalo, New York to Edwin and Phyllis (Powell) Pittaway; Carol was 76 years old.
A Washougal resident for the last 29 years, Carol worked in the telephone industry until her retirement. She is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 29 years Robert Andrews at home; daughter Laurel Kropski of Buffalo, New York; son Jim Schuman of Portland, Oregon; brother Ed Pittaway of Portland, Oregon; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister.
There will be no public services. Private interment will be held at the Washougal Memorial Cemetery. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
