Obituary of Marilyn Price

Marilyn Secor Price passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at Highland Terrace Nursing Home in Camas. Born on May 2, 1926 in Dunmore , Pennsylvania , Marilyn was 83 years old. A Camas resident for the past four years, Marilyn was formerly of Winter Haven , Florida . She was a graduate of Douglas College University (before it became Rutgers University ) graduating with a Bachelor's of Arts Degree. She worked as a former tutor at M.I.T. before becoming a homemaker. She enjoyed golfing, needle point, gardening, taking care of her roses, and spending time with her family and friends. Marilyn is survived by her son Keith (Bernadette) Price of Portland , Oregon , daughter Karen (Karl) Lequire of Hartwell, Georgia , and sister Lois Amerman of Reno , Nevada . She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 49 years Andrew Cole Price III in 1998, son Kent Allen Price in 1998, sisters Andrea Price Oster in 2000, and Jean Ayers in 2007 and granddaughter Jamie Nicole Lequire in 2000. There will be no public services. Interment will take place in Georgia . Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
