Obituary of William Friede

William Joseph Friede passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at Southwest Washington Medical Center in Vancouver, Washington. Born on February 3, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois to Carle and Gladys Friede, William was 79 years old. William worked as an auditor for the State of Nevada, and was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He attended and graduated from the University of Idaho in Moscow, and received his Juris Doctorate from Northwestern School of Law at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon. He was also an active booster of the University of Idaho in Moscow, and a member of the B.P.O.E. and Jaycees in Coos Bay, Oregon. William is survived by his loving wife Rhoda at home; daughters Karla Friede of Tigard, Oregon, Tana Law of Tigard, and Lisa Rebagliati of Vancouver; brother Robert Friede of Edmonds, Washington; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Michael W. Friede in 1999. There will be no public service for William at his request. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
