Obituary of Jeffery Kasten

Jeffery Scott Kasten of Camas, WA, died on July 21, 2010, after battling brain cancer for almost a year. He was born in Poughkeepsie, New York on May 27,1964. Jeff completed his Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering at North Carolina State University and worked as an engineer for Alliance ATE of Sunnyvale, CA for the past 6 years. He was previously employed by Credence Systems in Hillsboro, OR. Jeff and his family established Renaissance Farms in the Fern Prairie area just north of Camas in November of 2001, and enjoyed the opportunity to "lovingly toil" on their property and in his garden in his spare time. He loved to study the Bible and God's word. Jeff was an amateur radio buff and enjoyed horseback riding and camping with his family. He was a member of Pacific Northwest Endurance Rides (PNER) and the American Endurance Ride Conference (AERC). Jeff is survived by his wife, Tracey, their three children, Sarah Mackenzie, Isabella Grace, and Seth Christian; his daughter, Lacey, of Portland, OR; his mother, Patsy Kasten, of Rome, PA; and his brother, Brian Kasten, of Thetford Center, VT.
