Rosemary Minton passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2010 in Seattle, Washington. Born on March 15, 1923 in Ellensburg, Washington to John and Mary Bunger; Rosemary was 87 years old.
A Camas resident since 1964, Rosemary was a homemaker who also had worked for the Camas Public Schools and as a supervisor for the Department of Corrections. She was one of the founders for the Key City Players Theater Group in Port Townsend, WA and season ticket holder for the Seattle Seahawks. Rosemary also enjoyed listening to Seattle Mariners games on the radio, baking, sewing, and painting. Most of all, Rosemary enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Rosemary is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years William at home; daughters Dr. Kathryn McMahon of Los Angeles, California, Carolyn Paulsen of Camas, and Marianne (Ralph) Gianinni of Gladstone, Oregon; sons William (Diane) Minton of Vancouver, Roger A. Minton of Vancouver, and Donald E. Minton of Portland, Oregon; sisters Juanita Johnson of Port Angeles, Washington, Joanne Bunger of Meade, Washington, and Jane Bressler of Casper, Wyoming and brother Jack Bunger of Zillah, Washington; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Mary Bunger; sister Phyllis Flower; and grandson Timothy McMahon.
A Memorial Service will be held at Bethel Community Church, 1438 B Street in Washougal, WA on Tuesday, August 31st at 1:00 PM. Please join the family for a reception following the service. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
