Webster "Web" Eugene Garver peacefully passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at his home in Vancouver. Born on April 30, 1940 in Santa Rosa, New Mexico to Lucille and Charles Garver; Web was 70 years old. A Clark County resident off and on since 1976, Web worked as a Director of Operations in the Home Improvement Industry. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy during the Bay of Pigs Invasion and was honorably discharged at the end of his enlistment. He attended New Mexico State University on a basketball scholarship and majored in Business. He enjoyed golfing, tennis, traveling, and being around his family and friends. Web is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Bernice "Bernie" at home; daughter Brenda (Greg) Wilson of Battle Ground, and son Frank (Carla) Garver of Battle Ground; sister Bonnie (Ron) Haptonstall of Denver, Colorado; sister-in-law Mary Mills of Vancouver; father Charles Garver of Texas; grandchildren Darrin, Kyle, Haley, Calli, and Grant, and many nieces and nephews. There will be a private graveside service with full Military Honors at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Web's honor may be sent to Extreme R & R for Veterans and Surviving Families. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
