Milford Gerald "Bob" Roberts passed away on July 10, 2016. He was 85 years old.
Bob was born on October 3, 1930 in Gillham, Arkansas to his parents Louis and James Roberts. Bob served for 22 years in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and the Viet Nam War. He retired from the Army as a Captain, and received 2 Purple Hearts: The Silver Star & Bronze recipient, Distinguished Flying Cross, and Air Medal with 4 clusters.
Bob was a 30 year resident of the Portland-Vancouver area and was an Automotive Car Dealership owner of the following: Robert's Chrysler in Hillsboro, Pioneer Jeep-Eagle in Hillsboro, Rose City Chevrolet in St. Johns, Frontier Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep in LaGrande, Frontier Ford in LaGrand, Robert's Dodge in Eugene, Robert's Ford and Robert's Tri-City Dodge in Kennewick.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Sandra, his son Milford G. "Butch" Roberts, his daughter Debra Faye Roberts Smith, his step-son Gerald G. "Gary" Fleanor, adopted sons: Jesse and James Roberts, adopted daughter Ricki Roberts Sauls, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his son Bobby Lynn Roberts and his daughter Anita Kaye Roberts Pate.
A service will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2016, 11 AM at Brown's Funeral Home in Camas. He will be interred at Cossatot Family Cemetery in Gillham, Arkansas.
