Frances Evelyn Gano passed away on Friday, October 19, 2007 in Vancouver, Washington. Born on January 6, 1916 in Rutherford, New Jersey, Evelyn was 91 years old.
Evelyn was a Washougal resident from 1954-1990. She was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church and was a volunteer for 16 years for Hospice Southwest. She enjoyed hot air ballooning, ceramics, and painting. Most of all, Evelyn loved her family and her Lord.
Evelyn is survived by her daughters Diane Fox of Washougal, and Sue Tipton of Washougal, four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Gano in 1980 and daughter Judy Cummings in 2005. There will be a Celebration of Life Service for Evelyn on Wednesday, October 24th at 2:00 pm at Brown's Funeral Home in Camas. Memorials in Evelyn's honor maybe sent to Hospice Southwest. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
