Catherine and I hadn’t been friends all that long. We came together over a common bond...we had both lost our husbands, our loves. She was so much fun to be around and always had an infectious smile. She and I would compare our lives on the water, she living next to her “pond” me living along side a river. I will miss you my friend. I know you’re with Mike and Sara now and one very happy girl.

i wrote a long post on your wall, so i wont repeat here. I just have to say that although i didn't see you often I already feel the hole in my life of you being gone. No more comments on my facebook posts, no messaging, No more "life on the pond" videos. I miss them.. i notice their absence in my life. But I am comforted by the thought of your reunion in heaven with Sarah and Mike. You were a tiny person, but a strong force in the world. As yourother friend said, i guess our next tea date is in heaven one day. I am missing you today.

Catherine was a faithful friend for 28 years. She comforted me with her loving presence during my darkest season of grief. Without her help we may not have been able to retrieve our son's service dog upon his passing. Catherine and Michael opened their hearts and home to so many in Washougal. They hosted our Gateway Grow Group so that we could establish strong relationships with one another and with the Lord. Catherine made time to listen to others and encouraged thought provoking discussions. I miss her already. Guess we will have the next cup a tea when we meet again in our eternal home. Love you my small friend. With loving memories your tall friend.

Cat, I miss you so much already. You were such a good friend and I can’t believe you are not physically here anymore. I will forever count you as family. I know you are no longer in pain and the thought of you reconnecting with Michael and Sarah just makes me smile. We will be together again someday. Bacon and bbq and lemon pie will always remind me of you and our fun lunches back in the day. All my love, Kathy
