Obituary of Catherine Bloomquist Gutz

Catherine Bloomquist Gutz, 64 years, passed away on February 3, 2021 in Vancouver, Washington. She was a 35 year resident of the Camas-Washougal area. Catherine was born on July 10, 1956 in Lodi, California to her parents, Wayne E. and Carol L. (Cusick) Bloomquist. She earned her Bachelor's Degree and worked in the Education Profession as a Teacher. She was a member of Gateway Community Church in Washougal, Washington. Catherine is survived by her daughter, Heather (Chris) Carver of St. Helens, Oregon; sons, Jason (Michelle) Bloomquist of Bellingham, Washington, Daniel Gutz of Peoria, Arizona; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Doug Hammer of California; Mark Hammer of California; sisters, Danni Fuller of Cameron Park, California, Jenna Hardesty of Langley, Washington; chosen childrens, Kristy Berry, Rachel Wedin, Christina Suarez, Tia Smith, Cheyenne Cody, Susan Deker-Martinez, Tiffany Garett. Catherine was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Michael Gutz; daughter, Sara Contreras. Per the family no service will be scheduled.
