I first meet Toff almost six years age when my friend Chuck Farrell encourage me to join him in a weekly visits to the local nursing home. It was always a joy and honor to spend time with a person of Toffs warmth and personality. He was always open to talking of his family life and his war experiences and at the same time always asked about us and our families. Toff was one of those people who reminded a person of how much you missed by not knowing him all his life. He will always be missed but not forgotten for all that he added to our lives.
