Marvin Eugene Toffer passed away peacefully on August 25, 2014, surrounded by his family. He was 92 years old.
Marvin was born on September 17, 1921 in Red Lodge, Montana, to his parents Uno and Jennie Toffer. He worked in the automotive industry as a manager and co-owner of many car lots. Marvin was a veteran and served in the United States Air Force and received a World War II Victory Medal.
Marvin is survived by his son, Jeffrey E. Toffer (Wife Pamela) of Frisco, Texas, daughter Kathleen M. Layton of Vancouver, Washington, as well as 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Edith, his parents, and his sister Bonnie Youngren. A memorial service will be held for family and friends at Willamette National Cemetery, date to be announced.
